Dear Aerissa,

Today you are 9 months old. I can hardly believe it. You are babbling, crawling, standing, clapping, and cruising. You even have two little teeth that you won’t let me look at. You are growing up so fast (cliche, yes, but true!) and I hardly know what to think.

It’s amazing to me that you grew within the womb for 9 months and now… here we are…. 9 months after your birthday. I couldn’t wait for your arrival and now I want to slow down time.

I remember wondering what you would be like. I still am wondering that since you are growing and developing, but you are becoming your own little person! Your laugh is irresistible, while your cries break my heart.

One thing that should come as no surprise is that you are constantly moving – particularly those little feet. You moved and kicked a lot while I was pregnant and being born has not slowed you down in that area!

Well, you are napping right now, cuddled on my lap. I have lots of work to do, but I’m going to steal a few more minutes with you.

Love,

Mama
