This is so cute, but my toddler has never been interested in stuff like this. My mother ended up buying her an iPad and she loves it! It really is a great learning tool for her too!

My grandson loves to press the buttons on my cell phone. There are a ton of buttons to press on this toy phone and he would love it!

I don’t even have a smart phone! lol My great niece thinks the remote control to the tv is a phone because of all the buttons on it, haha Actually anything hand held that has buttons is a phone, LOL She loves the camera phone, wants to see her picture on it all the time. I know she would love this, and it would actually BE a phone!

Children, especially babies, learn by watching and copying behavior. Although I would like to limit the amount of time my daughter spends with technology (I would rather she be outside playing), I do see benefits from things like this phone. Not only will it help with cause and effect but also with language skills.

My toddler is always going after our phones. I think this might occupy him in the carseat. I feel like he would recognize the difference and get upset though sign the screen stays the same.

My 1 yr old grandson is very interested in phones and likes to listen to music on them. My 6 yr old grandson can probably use them better than I can so his grandpa gave him his broken screen Iphone which he uses to play games and several other things.

I think this is a great toy, we use to have something like this for our granddaughter. She loved it so, nothing like having a phone especially when everyone they see is talking on some sort of cell phone.ncjeepster

That is so cool! My 3 year old has mastered my iPod, but my youngest hasn’t had the chance to mess with it yet. This could be a temporary deterrent. :P

Not in a million years would my son (20 mths) be fooled by this. The thing he likes most about my phone is the swipe feature. if it don’t swipe it ain’t a smart phone as far as he is concerned. I reckon he would have more fun with the box.

Considering this is a toy I posted about two years ago, I’m sure there are toy phones with swipe features now. At the time there weren’t really. It wasn’t about fooling kids anyway. My kids had fun playing with it but still knew it wasn’t the same as my phone.DarcyZalewski
