It brings warm rain and flowers. But it also brings love.
Brian and I met in the spring. Well, we met face-to-face in the spring. It was March 2002, several months after we started talking online. This led to years of dating and a spring proposal in 2004… and then a spring wedding in 2006. In fact, our 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up next week!
We also moved into this house during the spring.
Last year, spring was when we found out we were pregnant and announced it to the family. It was when Brian gave me my first Mother’s Day card. Boy, how he made me cry (with happiness)!
Now this spring, I need to look through Father’s Day Cards. I didn’t get him one last year, so I really need to make this first one special! Oh! And since June is right around the corner, we need to get a whole bunch of birthday cards. Several of my in-laws have birthdays in the beginning of June.
Ah, spring. I do love it and how it blossomed our dating like-love into true love… companionship… and a family. And as much as I love spring I still must ask:
Is it summer yet?

Spring sure sounds like an exciting time around your house! LOL! Hubby and I met in October...nothing like "Falling" in love. :)

How touching! My husband and I just celebrated our 10 year anniversary (and he better not EVER forget ANYTHING, lol)! I love a good "love story", thanks for sharing!!

My husband has always remembered, it is me that forgets :( He always says he does not want or expect anything. I need to step it up this year and make sure the man of my life is recognized!
