It’s taken awhile to realize this.. or at least to admit it. It’s so very hard to admit that my life is getting swallowed up by distractions, but it is. It’s like a 12-step recovery program for distracted people and the first step was realizing that I let too many distractions enter my life.
It’s pretty easy to get caught up in them when we are constantly bombarded with information, opinions, judgements, entertainment and technology. I want to enjoy my life and those around me as well as enjoy the “extras” from my tech… not get overwhelmed and stressed out by them. And one of the things that triggers anger and frustration for me seems to be external pressures…which include distractions.
