Fingerprint Resistant Lenses for Eyeglasses? Yes, Please!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Zenni Optical for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Little ones are curious and grabby.  Keeping glasses on your nose and untouched by your little one can be a real challenge.  My daughter is constantly grabbing at my glasses and getting her little fingers all over my lenses.  This aggravates me to no end.  It’s hard to see through blurry, smudgey prints and the oils don’t wipe off so easy.

Well, there’s good news!  I recently found out that Zenni Optical now offers fingerprint resistant anti-reflective coating for their eyeglasses!  This is the newest type of AR coating.  It is supposed to effectively repel fingerprints, oil, dust, and water.  It’s supposed to also reduce annoying reflections, such as while driving, from overhead lights, and camera flashes.

I have yet to buy a pair of Zenni Opticals cheap eyeglasses, but with the option for resisting fingerprints?  Oh and I bet it helps against nose prints too.  Ever have that happen when you are kissing and your partner’s nose bumps the lower part of your lens?  (It’s not just me, I hope!)

Wouldn’t these look cute for Valentine’s Day?

You can bet I’ll be looking into ordering from them after my next eye appointment!

I love the idea of fingerprint resistant! My 4 year grabs my glasses with the idea of cleaning them. It is a great thought but she ends up putting her little fingers on the lenses! Thanks for sharingourfamilyworld

  2. I bet my mom would love that…she always has little grandkids grabbing at her glasses and making them all smudgy!ChoresChocolate

I don’t even have kids but still manage to get smudges on my glasses when I wear them. This is definitely a nice feature!

In the past I had scratch resistant. I would LOVE fingerprint resistant! I can barely see through my glasses most of the time.artsavesyou

Yeah I get scratch resistant too, but the smudges are hard to see through! I figured a lot of us could use this :)Syrana
