Quick and Easy Chinese Beef for Dinner

How many times have you looked at the clock and thought, Oh crap, I forgot to start dinner!

I’ve learned that it is essential to have an arsenal of quick and easy dinner recipes in my back pocket. What ingredients are on hand need to be factored in as well, which is why I LOVE recipes with minimal ingredients (or items I regularly stock in my pantry).

Even with a meal plan, sometimes I fail to start dinner on time. Or I forget to defrost meat. Or life simply happens, thwarting our best intentions.

Make this simple flavorful Chinese Beef recipe for dinner.

This flavorful Chinese Beef recipe uses only a couple ingredients and involves minimal preparation. As long as you have some beef handy, you can get dinner on the table fast!

Directions:

Start by slicing your beef steak into 1/2-inch thick slices.

After you slice up the meat, rub the beef slices with soy sauce. You can also use teriyaki sauce instead. Add some chili paste to give it a spicy kick!

In a wok or large skillet heat the oil.

Carefully add the meat and cook for about 3 minutes or until the steak is brown and well done.

Remove from heat. Plate the beef and top with parsley and sesame seeds.

Serve your Chinese Beef with steamed vegetables and noodles or rice. Stir fried noodles or stir fried rice go perfectly with this recipe. The Kitchn has a great step-by-step tutorial of how to stir fry noodles. Stir frying is optional – if you prefer to prepare egg noodles or rice without stir frying, that is fine too!
