This year, you can Get Healthy doing things that are already part of your daily routine. If you have a baby or toddler, you can simply grab that jogger stroller and get to work. Yes, it may be tough the first few days, but the benefits are huge, and it’s easy to do when you have your motivation in the form of cute kids looking up to you while you work.

Moms who have just had a baby want to know the fastest way to get their body back in shape. Your goal is to GET HEALTHY and get healthy fast. Everyone is tired of feeling like they have to keep wearing their maternity clothing. Even if you are already a larger woman, you just want to feel back to your old self again, and using a baby jogger stroller may be the ticket to shedding baby pounds! It can be difficult to get back in shape when you want to be spending time with your newborn instead, so why not combine the two?

Invest in Comfort

Whenever you start trying to lose the baby weight, you’re going to be tired from getting up with the baby at night, and you may not feel much like exercising. So comfort is a priority.

Test out the baby jogger strollers in the store but don’t buy them there. You don’t want comfort at any cost, and you can save money by ordering online – and have it shipped to your home too!

Find a stroller you find light enough to be portable, and easy enough to push as you jog or walk. Do the wheels turn easily? Will your baby be comfortable in the jogging stroller? The key to being able to get healthy is to find a way to do so in comfort.

Start Slowly

There’s no need to lose all of the baby weight in one week’s time. Just go slowly. Your body has been through a lot, so you need to take care of it. Don’t overdo it. You’re not just concerned about yourself with this new routine – you’re concerned about your baby, too, who may not be used to getting outdoors for long periods of time. To get healthy for the long term, you need to start slow and be consistent.

Be Consistent

For both you and the baby, consistency is key. The baby might cry if you’re altering the routine too much, which will stress you out. Make a walking or jogging regimen for yourself. You might do it five days a week, or start out with every other day. Just be consistent.

I find that working in the exercise routine around their nap time is great. Either using it to help them fall asleep or as an option when they have recently taken a nap and are refreshed and happy is ideal. I don’t like to exercise when kids are fussy. It makes the situation stressful, and that doesn’t make anything easier.

Increase Your Outings

As you build your energy levels up, increase the amount of time you spend out and about with your child in the baby jogger stroller. Both you and the baby will benefit from this outdoor time. Your goal is to get healthy. As you build resistance and strength, you’ll need to increase your time out exercising.

I love the idea of joining other people in the neighborhood for a daily walk, or even weekly meetups to walk around the park with the kids. If your spouse is willing, you can easily go for a walk around the neighborhood each night after dinner. As long as you increase your time with exercise, you’ll easily be able to get healthy in no time.

Pay Attention to Your Needs

See if you can get a baby jogging stroller with some storage areas. You’ll want to take plenty of water so that you stay hydrated. And the baby may need a bottle, a diaper change, or a toy to entertain him while you’re out.

As you work toward improving your health, using a baby jogger stroller is a great way to get healthy. Getting out for a few minutes each day with your baby for a walk or jog is a casual and easy way to slowly but surely increase your exercise and get healthy in no time!
