Washing Dishes is Fun for Kids With the Splish Splash Sink & Stove! #ad

We received the Splish Splash Sink & Stove from Little Tikes to review. The fun is based on my children’s experience. Contains affiliate links.

My son has a new obsession…he absolutely loves playing with water. Pouring container to container. Splashing. Measuring.

It keeps him busy for hours. No, seriously. Hours. It’s hard enough to find an activity to keep a toddler’s attention for more than a few minutes, but this new play sink unlocked a whole new experience for him.

We have a play kitchen that the kids use, but they really enjoy the Splish Splash Sink & Stove…mostly because of the sink. It comes with a few dishes and there are knobs on the stove part. However, their favorite part is the working faucet. When you fill the sink basin with water it goes into it and will come out the faucet when pushing the pump.

My kids LOVE filling cups and pots up. We’ve been working on taking turns so they both get to operate the faucet. Sometimes I add a couple drops of dish soap for bubbly fun. Maybe they can start washing their own dishes…

I like that it’s not part of the play kitchen and can be set up wherever works for us. During the summer the kids enjoy their Little Tikes pirate themed water table, so this sink is perfect for small scale water play inside. (Though it still can result in wet clothes and floors!)

While both my 4 year old daughter and almost 2 year old son play with it, I think my son enjoys it the most. He asks us to fill it with water nearly everyday even two months later!
