Rissa used to lose toys and pacifiers because she didn’t have a strong enough grip. Now? Now it’s a game. I know she’s figuring out gravity, but sometimes the dropping gets out of hand. Then there are other times I absolutely don’t want her toys falling – while out at a restaurant or on a walk.
Victoria, a Canadian mom, must have been dealing with the same problem! She developed a practical, yet stylish, solution: Simply on board!
From the moment our set of toy straps arrived over a month ago, we’ve been using them none stop. It easily attaches onto car seats, strollers, carriers, high chairs, shopping carts… and use the adjustable end to attach to toys or whatever else you may need. I attach it to toys.
One Simply on board stays attached to our “traveling” toys. When they aren’t being played with, I have one end of the strap arounf the handles on the diaper bag. The velcro used is durable and has held up so far! Rissa even likes to chew on it!
I’ve had a few people comment on our straps – they are longer and attach easier than some others we’ve used and seen in stores. The length is important for us since Rissa needs to be able to get her toys to her mouth and shake them around without being tethered too closely to the stroller, etc. While out of town visiting family, they were amused because I attached one end around Rissa’s ankle or wrist while she played so her toys wouldn’t get lost. It worked!
Simply on board is now available in the US through Amazon. There are four color choices available at this time: black, pink, blue, and green. They come in pairs for $8.99, so they are affordable too!
Simply On Board is sponsoring a set for one of our Blog Bash 2011 prize packs!
