Key Ingredient Recipe Reader for the Cook on Your Holiday List!
As we go more digital and tech savvy, it is only a matter of time before we prefer an electronic cookbook, right? I love looking at the pictures in my cookbooks, but they take up so much space (especially in a small kitchen) and the pages can get yucky from being right in the middle of me cooking or baking. While I like the idea of using our tablet or my phone to refer to recipes while I’m whipping up something, it’s hard to keep them… clean. And then I worry about wrecking them or something.
The solution? A new wifi-enabled recipe reader made specifically for use in the kitchen with an app to collect, share, and access recipes!

The Key Ingredient Recipe Reader is perfect for the cooking enthusiast who wants a simple and fun way to collect, share and access their favorite recipes. The Recipe Reader from Key Ingredient is the world’s first specialized WiFi-enabled digital recipe reader built to withstand the rigors (and in my case… dangers lol) of the kitchen. This kitchen-safe Recipe Reader was built with the specialized needs of the cook in mind. The upright, hands-free device features a unique tap touchscreen, making it a snap for consumers to access all their favorite recipes while they’re cooking. The rugged design means users don’t have to worry about splashes and accidents.
Features include:
- Kitchen-safe construction for durability and easy clean-up
- Freestanding
- All recipes collected in one easy-to-use device
- WiFi sync adds new recipes to your Recipe Reader automatically
- 7-inch shatterproof touchscreen, adjustable font size, automatic screen rotation
- Full list of common ingredient substitutions with three built-in kitchen timers
- Search feature to quickly and easily find your favorite recipes
The Recipe Reader stores up to 2,500 recipes on the device and comes pre-loaded with the Key Ingredient recipe collection and sharing software for cloud-based instant access to more than a million recipes. Using the Recipe Reader, Key Ingredient community members have access to all their favorite recipe libraries—whether found on the web or entered into the Reader— all in one place and easily accessed with just a few taps. You can also store yourr personal recipe collections by using their website, apps, and Reader- not just a curated, chef-created collection like on other websites. This allows you to preserve cherished family recipes and to share them with friends and family.

Genius! I’m constantly taking my laptop into the kitchen to cook but think this would be much easier.

I still love using “real” cookbooks, but I’ll admit that I do quite a bit of cooking from my laptop. It would be nice to not have to walk over to it constantly because I’m trying to keep it “safe” from the kitchen!
