ANNOUNCEMENT: The Final {Baby} Countdown

*This is a sticky post.  Scroll down to see new ones, please!*

[UPDATE 12/9/12] Our son arrived on 12/8/12!

I wanted to give you all a quick update.  If you’ve been following along with my pregnancy updates, then you know that I’m due with our second child on 12/6/12.  Based on my previous pregnancy and labor as well as how my body has been progressing over the past week or so, it is very likely that I will give birth before my due date.

I am doing my best to get posts scheduled ahead of time and to keep up on my deadlines, but I also know you all understand that things will have to pause for a couple days while I give birth.  So, if I’m a little slow to respond to emails, comments, draw winners etc. or there’s a day without posts I’m probably having my baby (or working hard to prepare for him)!

I’ve done my best to prepare ahead of time like I would with any job, but there is only so much this very tired and pregnant mama can do without knowing for sure what day baby boy will decide to make his grand entrance into the world.  The plan is to post a quick announcement of his arrival so that you all know along with some guest posts as I recover and work on all the other awesome posts we have to share with you.

For the quickest update on baby’s arrival, be sure to follow me on Twitter and Facebook.  Those will be the first places I or my husband will post (on my behalf) that I’m going into labor and that baby has arrived.

Thank you all so much for your support and please have safe and happy holidays if I don’t get a chance to “see” you again before then!

Hope the birth is everything you want it to be and try not to feel pressured to get back online. Birthing a baby will only happen a few times in your lifetime… Give yourself time to recover. You have a lifetime of blogging days ahead of you to catch up.
