Rock Your Kid’s Smile With Dinosaur Train Toothbrushes! (Review & Giveaway – US – 3/4)
I want to know where all the cute toothbrushes were when I was a kid! No wonder Rissa is always asking to brush her teeth when we are in the bathroom. This is a good problem to have, I assure you, though sometimes she gets upset that she can’t take her toothbrush out if the bathroom to play with.
If your kids are a fan of Dinosaur Train, then they might like these Dino brushes!
The head of the brush is tapered down for small mouths with a thicker handle for easier grasping by little hands. Rissa was very excited that I let her choose which one she wanted to use first from the twin pack. (She tried to take both haha!)
These are a bit bigger than what I normally buy for her, but they seemed okay for her. I also like the suction cup on the bottom so it stands on the bathroom counter. Her handles don’t fit into our toothbrush holders very well, so this helps!
Rock Your Kid’s Smile!
Each February, the American Dental Association (ADA) sponsors National Children’s Dental Health Month to raise awareness about the importance of oral health.Developing good habits at an early age and scheduling regular dental visitshelps children get a good start on a lifetime of healthy teeth and gums. This year’s theme is “Rock Your Smile.”

“5Terrific T. Rex Teeth Tips” from your buddies at Dinosaur Train!
Just like Buddy loses his teeth on Dinosaur Train, kids lose primary teeth to make way for permanent teeth. Tyrannosaurus Rex replaced their teeth throughout their lives but you only get two sets so it is especially important to practice good dental care.
Follow these helpful tips for strong teeth and a healthy smile!
1. Twice a day: Brush your teeth when you wake up and before you go to bed.
2. Take your time: Brush your teeth for 2 minutes and be sure to include your tongue!
3. Be kind to your gums: Brush with a soft bristle toothbrush.
4. Get the hard to reach places: Floss your teeth every day.
5. See your dentist twice a year!
And if you want to see Buddy learning about his teeth, please tune into Dinosaur Train on March 1 on PBS KIDS to watch the “T-Rex Teeth” episode (check your local listings) and visit to watch Dr. Scott, the host of Dinosaur Train, tell us all about the teeth of the Tyrannosaurus and other carnivores, like sharks. Both sharks and Tyrannosaurus’ lose their teeth, but those teeth are always replaced by new teeth. Humans only get two sets of teeth, so it’s important to take good care of them!

I use a timer to make sure they brush for the right amount of time.
I have a timer that i use, and if they brush their teeth to that timer everyday 2x a day, i give them 5 bucks at the end of the week. It works lol
My son has a sand timer and uses that. :) In preschool he had a teethbrushing song. that was cool!~
I let them choose the toothpaste. If it something they like, they’ll want to brush.
i sing the abc song while they are brushingmaggienicholl
We sing songs as we brush :)
I don’t have a tip really, I’m very lucky because all 3 of my kids have yet to complain about brushing their teeth. My youngest actually gets mad because we won’t let her take her toothbrush out of the bathroom to play with it!
for us, the best help was laying him down on the changing table. he hated brushing unless he was laying down. also, if you are struggling, just keep it part of the routine and it will get easier!
thanks for the giveaway, we love dinosaur train!
Since I have three boys, I make the 2 not brushing sing a song to the brushee. The brushee can’t stop brushing til the song is over (to make sure they brush long enough) and the singers enjoy making up words to different tunes to sing. They are silly boys, and we laugh a lot while the brushing is going on!kappavelvit
I just tell them their teeth wont work as well if they do not brush their teeth. Thank you
My husband and I make it a habit to brush our teeth at the same time as our 6 y/o daughter. To encourage her not rushing through the task, we always have a contest to see who can brush the longest… She wins every time. Go figure.
actually, I am one of those who needs the tip. my son doesn’t let brush his teeth and he only chews the brush or sucks the water in the bristleserickascr
My son loves the plaque mouth rinse that changes the plaque on his teeth colors! Then he knows to brush until all the color on his teeth goes away :)jwitt33
I let my kids choose what toothpaste they want and that seems to help!
Use Vortex toothpaste, it changes colors while you brush
No cajoling here. They both love to brush their teeth!
Thanks!

My son likes watching the sand timer, so that helps him brush his teeth for the right amount of time. My older kids prefer the digital timer.
We take turns. I brush his teeth, then he gets to brush them.TenuousThoughts
I let my kids choose their favorite toothpaste, toothbrushes, and I also use the timer to count :-)
My grandchildren would brush their teeth 10 times a day, I was not that lucky when my kids were little.
thanks for the giveaway

I sing a song as I brush her teeth…
It’s never been an issue, my grandchildren have always loved brushing.
sing songs
I like to get my children a favorite character on their toothbrush, or one that lights up or sings because they take more interest in brushing this way I find :)
My son is hard because he has Autism and brushing his teeth is hard with sensory issues. I use only toddler toothpaste and we try to make it a game with him and make brushing teeth fun.
My tip is we brush together!
We have a mirror on their level so they can watch themselves brush
