Our Review:

We’d never seen Angelina Ballerina before.  I’ve been learning quite a bit about children’s shows over the past few months.  And, I think it’s important to watch shows and movies that are entertaining as well as have a positive message.  When I say entertaining – it needs to entertain me AND my daughter.  I have to watch these too, so I don’t want to be bored!  I found Angelina Ballerina to be sweet with strong, positive messages about friendship.  While I was able to watch all four of the episodes, I wouldn’t say it’s our favorite show.  The episodes seem a tad slow paced to me, but they make for better watching in the evening for winding down, I think.  The messages and values are good though, like when the girls form their girls only club much to the disappointment of their male friends.  Eventually they figured out that exclusion wasn’t fun and having diversity helped enhance the music show they were putting together.
