The fun continues with a surprise introduction of a never-before-seen, new Silly Song chosen by Larry the Cucumber from thousands of fan submissions!

God Loves You Very Much Available now for $12.93 wherever DVDs are sold.
DVD Synopsis
“Does He Love Me?” is the question the Veggie Kids ask Larry and the answer is found through a fun trip of song and rhyme that gives the answer — God loves you very much! Join Larry, Bob, Junior, Laura and their pals as they recount all the ways that God shows kids he loves them even when “they forget to blow their nose, or dirty up their clothes!” This new compilation features stories that show uniquely how God cares for us in all kinds of situations! With the classic VeggieTales episodes, kids also learn valuable lessons around love, including Gideon: Tuba Warrior (Trust), The Ballad of Little Joe (Facing Hardship) and Rack, Shack & Benny (Peer Pressure).
The Aerissa Seal of Approval
Per usual, Rissa thoroughly enjoyed both of these DVDs (was there really any doubt?). Seriously, VeggieTales is one of the few shows she drops everything for to watch, dance, and clap as soon as she hears those first few tuba notes! It is also hard to keep the DVD cases out of her hands. Well, we watched the Silly Song telethon first. It’s nice having a collection of just the songs and I love that they use fan submissions to decide. There were a few we’d never heard before (Biscuit of Zazzamarandabo) and lots that we knew quite well (My Hairbrush, Cheeseburger, Monkey). I don’t want to spoil the surprise of the NEWLY added silly song just in case you don’t know yet. But… it’s super silly!
We certainly enjoyed the story song of “Does He Love Me?” which asks a big question for a lot of kids (and grownups too). It helps to reassure that He does love them even when they don’t do what they are supposed to. Kids think they are being bad, but those behaviors and actions aren’t “bad” they are mostly just mistakes. And, mistakes don’t make anyone a bad person. The song is very catchy (they are really good at that!). The other stories had very important messages in them as well. I especially liked Rack, Shack & Benny. They stood up against peer pressure to do what was right even though it was not the easy thing to do. This was probably the most violence/aggression I’ve seen in a VeggieTales story, what with the melting threats and all! (It’s still no where near as bad as most kids shows out there.)
