Tales From the Nursery: The Toddler Years

Create Special Time with Your Partner With Syncrohearts!

I have a confession… I miss my husband.  He’s still here, but our relationship has changed since our daughter was born.  It’s not bad, just different.  There are some things I wish hadn’t changed, but it’s just part of becoming parents.  More than ever communication is important – especially regarding feelings.  In our busy lives as parents, it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind and let that quality special time get pushed back to “later.”  Thing is, later becomes later and later… so what if there was a way to bond and have fun in under an hour?  Maybe you could squeeze it in a couple times a week?

Let me introduce you to Syncrohearts: The Game You Love to Play and Play to Love, created by Dr. Bobby Love.  Now, it’s not another “sex game” it is a relationship game aimed at improving communication as well as intimacy.  It’s considered a love  game or relationship game since it’s about expressing your feelings for each other, yet there’s playfulness to it.  It’s not raunchy or dirty like sex games and does have an element of romance to it.  It takes only about an hour to play (though you might find something else to do right afterwards!), which makes it ideal for a date night activity.

The game starts off with a hug and a kiss.  You roll the dice to move around the heart shaped paths, following directions as you go.  There are intimate touches (hugs, kisses, massages) and four types of cards you can draw.  The cards pose questions for both of you to think about, some are more playful, while others are more sensual.  There is no way to lose when you play!

Besides being perfect for Valentine’s Day, I think this is a good game for couples trying to conceive.  The stress and emotional drain that fertility issues can put on a couple is rough – I know!  And being stressed does not help anyone get pregnant.  So, relax, reconnect, and enjoy one another.  Put your hearts on the same page.. Sync them up with Syncrohearts!
