Are You Our Top Fan?

Whenever I ask a question or post a new giveaway on our Facebook fan page, there are several familiar names (and faces!) that I see. I’ve seen a few other pages start recognizing their top fans who interact and I want to as well! I’d love to see more discussions since it’s hit or miss right now. So, I now have the Booshaka app on our fan page. It will assign points for fan page activities and keep a list of the top ten most active fans.
I want you all to have fun with it and I thought maybe the top fan of the month could get a reward for being so awesome – what do you think?

Interesting app, although personally I think just including Facebook interactions in your Top Fan calculations isn’t fair since it excludes any interaction on your blog (which I would think would be more valuable to you as a blogger). JMHO as a non-blogger though so take it with a HUGE grain of salt.
You make a valid point and I appreciate you saying so. I should have said Top Facebook Fan. I do prefer the interaction on the blog, but some people interact more on Facebook. I keep experimenting with ways to hear from everyone and give little extras. I’m wanting to add PunchTab but some people don’t like the pop up about points (it gives points for comments and visitng the blog plus FB, etc!)Syrana
thanks for the clarification :) I’ve seen PunchTab on some other blogs and it is annoying, so I’m glad you’re not going that route. I’ve seen some bloggers that have a sidebar widget that shows their top commenters (although like anything else those get skewed if they run a lot of giveaways and offer extra entries for commenting). Good luck in finding something that works great for you and how you run your blog!! :)
