Vizardz 2.5D Photo Lighted Ornament Review

I previously shared with you my review of the Vizardz Light Box (and gave one away!) which I love.  It has captured a favorite photograph of my daughter that I will treasure forever.  Now I want to share with you another one of their products: lighted ornaments!  These aren’t just for the holidays, but certainly make great gifts.  The description on the website mentions an elegant gift wrap-able box, but I didn’t receive that box and am not sure what it looks like.

The ornament comes in two separate pieces: the ornament and the light source.  The bulb clips in through a hole on the top.  I’m not quite sure how I will hang this, so some experimenting is in order (unless I missed something in the box).  The Photo Light Box we received had the picture in monochrome, but the ornament is in full color.  It looks nice with the light on or off.  When the light is on, it definitely brings out the texture of the ornament and gives it depth.

While I love this picture of my daughter, I think a city skyline would be beautiful on one of these!  I handle this ornament very carefully.  The only thing I noticed about it was a bit of an odd smell, sort of chemical like.  Otherwise, I have no complaints about this ornament.  Since I chose the same picture as the Light Box, I’ve decided to keep the Light Box for myself and gift the ornament to Rissa’s grandparents.  I think they will enjoy this lovely piece of art!

Oh! One last thing I wanted to share with you.  The customer service has continued to be great.  The ornament I received was actually the second one made because the first one broke during production.  I was informed of the situation and the status, so I was never left wondering where the heck my ornament was or why it was taking longer than expected.

What would you put on one of these?

Those are really neat! I’m not sure what I would put on one, but the one with your daughter looks neat & will be a nice gift to the grandparents!!!! I think these would make a great gift for new parents with a picture of their baby on it & it could hang in the nursery as a nightlight!!!
