Bathroom Reading | Chilling Tales From the Porcelain Seat {Review}
Do you keep bathroom reading material near your toilet? Do you know someone that does? If so, you might be interested in getting Chilling Rales from the Porcelain Seat.. Its a collection of plumbing horror stories and tips for keeping those pipes clean.
It’s a short read and perfect for flipping through while doing your business. Some of the stories might gross you out, like the flushed rabbits head or dentures, but some are entertaining. You can chuckle at the thought of flushing your keys down the toilet while the car is running – all the while hoping it never happens to you!
There are some useful tips included, such as how to figure out if you have water leaks and ways to fix them. There’s commentary from Grant Wilson and Jason Hawes of Ghost Hunters sprinkled throughout the book too.
If you want something with some DIY disasters, mishaps, and a few toilet tips, then you might like this collection. I was disappointed that there wasn’t more supernatural related stories. The book starts with information about Grant and Jason getting into debunking claims of paranormal activity and helping those that do have evidence of something going on. It also talks about their jobs with Roto-Rooter. But… It lacks actual ghost stories, which I totally thought this would have a lot of based on the title. Maybe a little misleading. So if that’s your only interest then this little book isn’t for you. We are fans of Ghost Hunters and I hoped Brian would enjoy it (he reads in the bathroom more than I do!) but he was a little disappointed.
