Tales From the Nursery: The Toddler Years

Organizher Contact Keeper Review & Giveaway (US) 12/2 closed

I’m busy, you’re busy… we are busy women.  Moms are busy trying to keep track of information for themselves, their children, and various others.  I don’t like traditional address books.  They just don’t fit my needs well, especially now and in the future as Rissa gets older.  Mead has a line of products with busy women in mind called Organizeher.

Product Features:

  • 5.25” x 9” size
  • Pre-printed tabs
  • Blank tabs for customization
  • Category specific address book fill
  • Dates to remember section
  • Labels printed with address book fill
  • ARV$8.99

The contact keeper is not your run of the mill address book.  Instead of listing information alphabetically, it is divided into sections that are important to moms: my friends; kid’s friends; family; healthcare; babysitters; service; dates to remember; and a couple blank ones to customize.

I find the sections to be very beneficial! Especially the kid’s friends section.  I don’t necessarily want their info mixed in with everyone else.  And family info is nice to have all together and accessible.  The dates to remember is great for marking down static occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.  I hate trying to transfer everything off one calendar and on to the next.  This way, I have the info without having to rewrite it every year.

But what about that friend who moves far away or the untrustworthy friend?  The ones you don’t keep on touch with any more? Or the ones you want to keep seeing….

Instead of scribbling out their section, leaving an awkward box there, you can use the labels to stick over the area and fill it out again.  It seems less wasteful to me and allows for more notes to be added about the kid and their parents.

Keep on the look out at Organizher on Facebook for giveaway announcements and other information!

Tell me your favorite section and why and you could win one for yourself!

I like the family section – I have a ton of family contact info on a Word document, on torn off return address labels kept in a box, and on saved text messages…real organized, huh? It’s so embarrassing when I can’t find a family member’s contact info and have to ask for the thousandth time!

The family tab is my favorite because not too long ago I had to call for an after hours appt for my daughter and in the panic and frenzy I was in, I could not remember her birthdate!!! I really need to have all important info in one spot for instances like these and I think the family section would be a good place to list out our birthdates.

This looks like just what I need. My address book has so many mark-throughs in it. It looks awful, but I’ve had it for several years now. I love the ideas of the labels to cover up old info in this one. Thanks!
