Zip-ity Princess Doll Review & Giveaway (US) 11/12 closed
Until recently, Rissa had little more than passing interest in dolls and stuffed animals. Now she’s showing more interest by playing with them, huggung them, and carrying them around. It’s really an adorable sight to behold! Rissa received an early birthday present, the Zip-ity Princess Doll. She’s about 14 inches tall, has a soft body and offers six learning activities perfect for little ones about a year to 3 years old, including zip, snap, fasten, and button.
The Zip-ity Princess Doll is made by Goldberger Toys, a 90 year old family company. They are committed to providing safe, affordable, quality dolls for children. They understand that a doll is meant to be loved forever. Do you ever randomly think about your old dolls? Where did they go; where did they end up? I do! So, Goldberger Toys offers a lifetime guarantee on their dolls. Depending on the doll and the extent of their injury, they will do their best to repair or replace them. I think this is a great way for them to stand behind their product.

I could not get “Dolly” (I know – so original of me!) out of the box fast enough. Rissa tried to help me. As soon as she could get her hands on Dolly, she got right to pointing at her button. Her eyes, and her nose. Being at the early end of this toy’s age range, my daughter has not mastered the basic skills this doll helps teach, but it’s great knowing they are there. Riss does like to point out buttons and tap her nail against them. he recently began pulling the zipper down but cant quite figure out how to go back up without some help holding Dolly’s body steady. As she fiddles with the zipper, button, buckle, etc, she’s developing motor skills and dressing skills. I love this because it comes about naturally with her curiosity.
I am pleased to report that our doll seems safe for a one year old. Clothing and items are sewn on. Her hair is made of strips of felt rather than yarn or some type of synthetic fake hair. It does not pull out easy! The various parts of Dolly’s dress (and her hair!) help stimulate sense of touch and allow for her tiny fingers to explore several different materials and textures.
Birthday or Holiday gift idea! I think this makes a great present for a baby transitioning into toddlerhood.
