Pringles and Nonni’s

Snacking is definitely a theme this week!  Here are a couple more snacking options that are perfect for busy families!

Pringles Grab & Go are handy dandy.  I’ve always liked Pringles.  They have a nice variety of flavors and the chips are always light and crisp.  They tend to be seasoned evenly too, something you don’t always find in other chips.  One thing I like about Pringles is the ability to count out a serving easier.  Sure, sometimes they break in the can, but overall it’s easier to count these out.

The Grab & Go containers make them more portable than the full size container.  They can easily be packed for lunch, be hidden in a desk drawer at work, and fit in the diaper bag for a quick bite by mom or dad.  I didn’t do anything creative with them, though my daughter enjoyed playing with the empty canisters.

Normally I like soft, chewy cookies, but I do like snacks with crunch.  Nonni’s Biscotti Bites definitely fit the bill.  Biscottis are often used as a cookie to dunk in coffee.  They can be eaten with milk or wine too.  (They also go well with ice cream.  Just crumble some up and sprinkle on top!)  The new mini snack sized versions make them perfect to have anytime.  They can also be used in the kids’ packed lunches (or your own, for that matter).  I tried three flavors: Flavors include: Caramel milk chocolate, Almond dark chocolate and Classic Almond.  I must say, my favorite is Caramel Milk Chocolate.  Sweet yet light and crunchy.  (Only 40 calories per bite!)  These offer a nice alternative to overly sugary cookies.

What’s your favorite flavor?

These would be great for my kids lunch. I’ll think I’ll give it a try.

I get addicted to Pringles so the smaller cans keep me from eating as much in one sitting.

I love pringles! What a great size, and I love the idea of giving kids something other than candy!
