I’m sure most of you are aware of the destruction that a tornado caused in Joplin, Missouri.  Getting the items they need to take care of themselves and their family as well as to help them as they work on clean up and rebuilding is difficult since stores and other important places like a hospital were destroyed.

A fellow blogger at Passport to Frugal posted about items that are needed.  She is working with one of the churches to get these donations to the people.

If you have a stockpile, it would be very helpful if you are able to share.

My mom is a rebate and couponing queen.  Which I cannot even compare.  I suck no matter how hard I try…. anyway…

My mom has given us a lot of her stockpile.  I used to donate a lot of the items to my clients at work because they were often in need (low income, unemployed, homeless, etc.)  So, I have packed up a box of donations that will be sent out today.
