Minty Fresh Breath for Less {Review}

I received the opportunity to try one of Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products and chose their Mouthwash. They last time I visited the dentist, he informed me that at my age, I definitely need to ensure my gum health. This means brushing, flossing, and rinsing.
Honestly though, I’m not too good at flossing as I should. Brushing I always do. Rinsing I’ll do if I have mouthwash to use. But it sure can make a dent in our budget. Leading brands can cost $5, $7, even $10 depending on what you buy. It’s nice that this Mouthwash only costs about $3 per bottle!
The first thing I did was look at the ingredients list and compared it to a name brand bottle we have in the bathroom. The ingredients were the same, which was reassuring. I poured some in the cap and swished it around in my mouth.
Ooh, how minty (the good minty – more spearmint tasting, which I like) it was as I swished it around before spitting it out. It had the familiar sting that a strong mouthwash often has and left my mouth feeling clean. I could still taste a hint of mint after breakfast even.
I’ve tried a few name brand mouthwashes before, but I’d never tried the mouthwash from Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products before. I used to think it wouldn’t be as strong or work as well, but it seems to work just fine! We’ll use our review bottle up and more than likely will purchase it in the future since it works great and is more affordable.

I am the same way…I will only rinse if I have some mouthwash on hand AND I HATE flossing! :( I will have to try this out sometime…it sounds really good!Sally

we have a walgreens very close to us- we love it! we use their brand often, no problems!

That is really interesting. I like finding store brand products that are identical to the name brand. And name brand mouthwash is SO expensive it is good to know we have a less expensive, but still good quality, mouth rinse available!
I find myself going more and more for store brands instead of name brands. Thanks for posting about the mouthwash. I think I will pick up a bottle on my next trip to Walgreens.wakela
