The best part about spring? Flowers.  Definitely the flowers.

Flowers are a great way to brighten up my day, my hubby knows this.  (I did have to forewarn him that I was receiving review flowers so he wouldn’t wonder where they came from!)

I had the opportunity to review a gorgeous bouquet of flowers from Proflowers – their Deluxe Fragrant Stargazer Lilies.

I was pleased with how fast my flowers arrived.  They are appropriately named too – they were very fragrant!  I could smell them as I opened the box.  They also came with a very pretty pink vase.  At first, I was surprised that they hadn’t bloomed yet, but this is how their flowers are sent to keep them fresh and alive longer.  

I love getting fresh flowers, but they often wilt and die in a few days since most of the time flowers have been blooming for awhile before they are purchased.  My lilies slowly opened up over the next day.  When I woke up, I could smell them in the bedroom even though they were in the living room.  The lovely scent filled the house!

They’ve stayed alive for a week without me tending to them very much.  Unfortunately, they haven’t gotten as much sunshine as they should since I have to keep them up high on a bookcase so the cats can’t get them.  (They were very excited when I opened the box and proceeded to chew on the leaves until I could get them someplace safe.)
