Lovely Baby & Mommy CD Review
I love music and hope my daughter will too. She’s been exposed to a variety of music types since she was in utero, although, mostly we listen to hard rock and heavy metal music.
Rissa definitely loves it when I sing and likes toys that play music. So, her and I listened to the Lovely Baby & Mommy CD together.
Lovely Baby Music is proud to announce the release of the Lovely Baby & Mommy CD. International baby music expert and Lovely Baby creator, Raimond Lap, has created a collection of ten special songs celebrating the importance of moms everywhere, and their integral role in their baby’s development. This unique collection will surely strengthen the natural bond between mother and child.
It’s definitely gentler music than I tend to listen to. The lyrics were nice and easy to sing along with. Rissa seemed interested, although we were playing while listening. She really did seem to react positively to it and was even giggling without me making faces!
The little kid that talks, laughs, and says “mommy” in the background was a little odd to me though. I’m not sure if it’s a real baby or is computer generated. It reminded me of Elmo at times, and sort of took away from the songs for me. BUT! Rissa seemed to love hearing the little one.
It took a few songs for me to appreciate the blending of the baby, music, and lyrics. The CD contains 10 songs and is definitely good to listen to during play time. The last song, Sleepy Baby, Close Your Eyes might be good to play at bedtime.
If you know a mom and baby that like to listen to softer music, this might be a good gift for them. They also have a variety of other music CDs that I would be interested in checking out, too. This CD and their Lovely Baby & Daddy CD are the only ones that contain lyrics, the rest are instrumentals.
