I have a couple things to share with you today.  Both are connected to Max, a lovable dog who also happens to be a children’s book author.

Second:  I have a message from Max.  He needs your support to vote – which will help Leader Dogs of the Blind.  (They have a very important job and people need their assistance!)

It’s voting time!!! As many of you know I am an award winning children’s book Author and partnered with Leader Dogs for the Blind. A portion of the proceeds from my book sales are donated to this organization. Recently, I have worked with Leader Dogs for the Blind in the creation of our newest book “Dogs Work Too!” to tell their story about Leader Dogs for the Blind from a dogs prospective. Since the release of the book, an educational promotional video was created. It has been a really exciting and rewarding project.

This brand new video promotion titled “Read With Max! Children’s Book “Dogs Work Too!” A Story About Leader Dogs for the Blind” has been selected to compete in the 2011 Peoples Telly Award. This competition is conducted online at the Official Telly Awards YouTube website. Voting starts Monday March 28th and continues for 4 weeks.

This competition and the People Telly Awards are chosen specifically by online voters. We are seeking your help to share and gain as many votes as possible to show support for Leader Dogs for the Blind.
