Wow this post is superduper late.  My daughter arrived (on her own!) on October 31st.  That’s right, a Halloween baby!

I was planning to get some more posts up and scheduled between 10/31 and 11/4 … since I was going to start my maternity leave on 11/3 and was scheduled to be induced on 11/5.

But…. Aerissa had other plans.

So, this is a quick update post – she keeps me quite busy afterall – to let you all know that she arrived safely and soundly and healthy.  It’s also to let you know there is more to come… some posts I meant to get done before she arrived as well as posts pertaining to life as a new mother of a newborn.

Oh, and I’m also working on writing her birth story for those interested… it is taking awhile though.  I don’t often get a chance to get in front of the computer AND type with two hands.

Oh right… you want to see her I bet!  Here is a picture of her when she’s about a day old.  She was 6lbs 10oz and 19.75 inches long.
